It was held the meeting of the Academy Board
Vushtrri, 08 June 2015 - The Board of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), held today the eleventh meeting where they discussed several issues related to the process and the activities that are developed in the Academy.
During the meeting were discussed about spending and budget planning in the organization of training.
On this occasion, General Director of the Academy for Public Safety, Ismail Smakiqi explained each expenditure that was done and will be done for activities and trainings.
Meanwhile, the Board of the Academy of confirmed the support to the Academy as the most important institution for the development of training and education of public safety members.
The discussion point on the agenda was also to define the quota for public safety institutions in basic studies bachelor degree for the year 2015/2016.
On this occasion the Board of the Academy took the decision that the number of those who will attend the studies at the Faculty of Public Safety will be 65 students for the new academic year 2015/2016,.
During this meeting it was discussed the status definition of students in public safety agencies after completing the studies at the Faculty of Public Safety.
The meeting attented the General Director of the Academy, Ismail Smakiqi, General Director of Kosovo Police, Shpend Maxhuni, State Chief Prosecutor Aleksander Lumezi, General Director of the Correctional Service Emrush Thaci, General Director of the Emergency Management Agency Fadil Kodra, General Director of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, Fitim Shishani, Director of the Probation Service Metije Ademi, representative of the Kosovo Custom and also the international associates from the OSCE and ICITAP.
