Director Smakiqi hosted a delegation from the European Council

Vushtrri, 21 january 2015 – Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, today visited a delegation from the European Council (EC), led by Andrew Forde, acting chief of European Council Office in Prishtina.

The delegation was hosted by the Director General Ismail Smakiqi and senior management of Academy. During this meeting the General Director Ismail Smakiqi informed the delegation for the priorities and achievements, trainings and latest processes of Academy, particularly highlighted the opening of the Faculty for Public Safety.

During the meeting between the General Director Ismail Smakiqi and Andrew Forde acting Chief of Euopean Council Office in Prishtina were discussed the cooperation between the Academy and International Organizations in this occasion the European Council, during the discussion was revealed the new project that is related with prison regulations according to European standards. The acting Chief European Council Office in Pristina, Andrew Forde, expressed his willingness to further strengthen the cooperation between European Council and Academy. 

During the meeting was also discussed about new projects, escpecially in the area of security..Also he expressed willingness the assist and help the Academy with the experts in the security areas n the interest of capacity building and training for members of safety . At the end the Director Ismajl Smakiqi thanked acting Chief of European Council Office in Prishtina Andrew Forde for its willigness for further cooperation.
