Today the ninth meeting of the KAPS Board was held

Vushtrri, December.18. 2014 - Board of Kosovo Academy of Public Safety (KAPS), held today its ninth meeting and the last one in order for 2014, which was attended by the Director General of the Academy, Ismail Smakiqi, Director General of the Kosovo Police, Shpend Maxhuni who is also the chairman of the Board, Acting Chief State Prosecutor Syl Hoxha, other board members, who are representatives of public safety agencies and international associates from the OSCE and ICITAP.  

During the meeting they discussed the points that were on the agenda; The report about the adoption of professional standards for officials of public safety institutions. On this occasion the director Smakiqi reported to the board that the standard was adopted in March this year by the Board of the Academy, was approved by the National Qualifications Authority. 

During the board meeting was also reviewed the training plan- project for 2015. In addition the Board of the Academy was informed by the director Smakiqi also about KAPS activities in cooperation with internationals.  

By analyzing the conditions that Academy has as well as providing training, KAPS Board proposed holding courses for both official languages, Serbian and Albanian for all members of public safety. Unlike the meeting also discussed other points which are related to developments in Kosovo Academy for Public Safety.
