Smakiqi hosted a delegation from Albania

Vushtrri, September 18, 2014 - Director General of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Ismail Smakiqi, today hosted  Director of Police Academy Bilbil Memaj who was accompanied by ICITAP officials Marta Bacile Findlay in Tirana Office   The purpose of this meeting was to inform more closely with recent developments in the Academy and mutual cooperation between the two academies.
Smakiqi during the meeting briefed the delegation about the important processes in particular  regarding the opening of the  Faculty of Security within Academy in October of this year. Smakiqi also spoke about the ongoing cooperation between the two centers in the training of members of public safety.
 Smakiqi thanked the international partners for the continued support they continue to provide the most professional building of institutions in the country, as well as collaborations with European and international police associations such as INTERPA and AEPC.Ndërsa drejtori i Akademisë Policore të Shqipërisë Bilbil Memaj shprehu gatishmërinë e bashkëpunimit edhe në të ardhmen me Akademinë si dhe vlerësoi lartë punën e bërë në këtë institucion. As director of the Police Academy of Albania Bilbil Memaj expressed willingness  in future cooperation with the Academy and appreciated the work done in this institution. At the end of the meeting they visited one of the classes where held training "School of Police Staff and Command", supported by ICITAP, where  take part a total of 42 senior police leaders from all countries of the region
