Board of the Academy held its regular meeting

Vushtrri, September 4, 2014 - Board of the Kosovo Academy for Security held today eight consecutive meeeting attended by Director General of the Academy, Ismail Smakiqi, Director General of the Kosovo Police Shpend Maxhuni, who is also one of the board chairman, Nazmi Iballi Dean of Academy for Security, Acting Chief State Prosecutor Sylë Hoxha, other board members, Fitim Shishani, Lulzim Rafuna, Fadil Kodra, Shemshi Hajrizi- Metije Ademi and international partners from OSCE and ICITAP.

 During the meeting they reviewed the points which were on the agenda about progress for vacancy of student admission  in the Bachelor program, a proposal to change the quota for Public SafetyInstitutions in Bachelor studies for the academic year 2014/15 as well as overview of the process of Bachelor studies for Public Safety Institutions.

By considering the conditions that Academy posseses as well as providing trainings, Director Smakiqi  said that the study process will start on time and that the Academy has made all preparations to start in October for the first studies of the security studies.

While representatives of the Academy Board commended staff for their work and commitment made so far about the opening of the Faculty of Security.
