Deputy Minister of Internal Affair from Afghanistan Mr. IkramuddinYawar visited the Academy

Vushtrri, June 24, 2014 – Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) Mr. Ismail Smakiqi,hosted today Deputy Minister of Internal Affair of Afghanistan, Mr. IkramuddinYawar.  The delegation consisted of five members, and they were interested about the role, trainings and activities that are developed in the Academy.
On this occasion, Director Smakiqi informed the delegation about trainings, the activities and all development activities in KAPS. He also informed the delegation about the latest processes in the Academy as well as ongoing progress that our institution is doing for the realization of its goals. Mr. Smakiqi stated also about the objective that is that the Academy to get a regional character for studies in the field of public safety in the Eastern Europe.  The delegation was informed about the Academy’s membership in International Organizations related to the field of public safety.
Whereas,  DeputyMinister, Mr. IkramuddinYawar,expressinghis gratitudefor the hospitalitystressedthe importanceofcooperationbetweensecurity institutionsin KosovoandAfghanistan. Bothsidesagreed for further advancement of relations andinteragencycooperation. At the end, theAfghanistandelegationvisitedallthe premisesofKAPS.
