KAPS Board held its sixth meeting

10.03.2014Vushtrri, 10 marh 2014 – Board of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), today held its first meeting for 2014. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Board Ismet Kabashi, General Director of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi, Deputy Director of the Police Naim Rexha, and other board members Fitim Shishani, Fadil Kodra, Shemsi Hajrizi, Metie Ademi and international collaborators from OSCE and ICITAP.
During this meeting were reviewed the annual report of the work of KAPS and the work report of the board for 2013, also discussed the work plan of the Board for 2014. Also adopting the professional standards for officers of public safety institutions and elected the new Board chairman.
KAPS board which so far has led Ismet Kabashi, from now on as a chairman was elected Shpend Maxhunaj who is also a General Director of Kosovo Police.
In opening of the meeting, the Director General of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi thanked all board members for their contribution in the developments at the academy.
Meanwhile the participants highly valued the work done so far in the Academy.
