Director Smakiqi hosted a delegation from the U.S. KFOR

Vushtri, May 21, 2013 - General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Ismail Smakiqi, hosted in a meeting a delegation from the U.S. KFOR in Bondstill led by Colonel Storey. During the meeting Smakiqi thanked the American State and appreciated highly their contribution for the continuing support they have given in building and advancement safety institutions, in particular for the Academy.
He briefed the delegation on important processes that the Academy is going through, for delivery of training and for Twinning Project of the European Commission, which has the mission of providing higher education to public safety agencies in the country. Smakiqi stressed that the cooperation and assistance of the American State to the Academy is necessary and I hope that will continue this cooperation in the future. While Colonel Storey, stressed that the training and advancement of education for members of the public safety plays an important role in the overall security not only for the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and beyond.
He encouraged the Academy for the work done so far and expressed the willingness of future cooperation.
