Director Smakiqi travelled officially in Saudi Arabia

Vushtrri April 15, 2013 - General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), Ismail Smakiqi traveled on an official visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where is taking part in the annual conference organized by the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA). The main theme of this conference is "The issue of contemporary education in police, training and research".
In this conference are participating 34-member countries of INTERPA as well as new countries which are candidates for membership in this organization. 
Director Smakiqi, accompanied by Avni Istrefi, head of the Office for Foreign Relations, in addition to participation in plenary sessions and conference workshops, will also meet with leaders of the police academies INTERPA-member countries where the topic of discussion will be increasing of cooperation between the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety and Police Academies that are members of this organization. In the conference will have a meeting the Executive Board and the General Council of the Organization INTERPA, where will be taken decisions, inter alia, the decision for the next meeting.
