At the Kosovo Academy for Public safety graduated the 44th -generation of the Kosovo Police

Vushtrri, January 18, 2013 – at the Academy for Public Safety, after a 20-week training seventy Kosovo Police young cadets graduated.  Graduation ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Interior Izmi Zeka, General Director of Kosovo Police Shpend Maxhuni, General Director of the Academy, Ismail Smakiqi, Mayor of the Municipality, Bajram Mulaku, Chief Executive of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, Fitim Shishani, representatives of diplomatic offices in Kosovo, representatives of ICITAP, OSCE, KFOR and representatives from local and international institutions.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Izmi Zeka, wishing the newly graduates success in work, said that the Kosovo Police is obliged to guarantee safety and security for all citizens of Kosovo in all its territory.
"Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue with the development of strategic policies in supporting of the Kosovo Police, recruiting young members, so that our police to be younger in age, "said Zeka
Estimating that police work is one of the most challenging and dangerous work said that the Kosovo Police is the best argument that these sacrifices and hardships are paid off with great achievements and support by Kosovo citizens."With the achieved results, we are progressing in the European integration process and I am more than sure that you will also contribute to regional and international security as well as part of abroad missions," said Zeka.
Meanwhile, General Director of Kosovo Police, Shpend Maxhuni said that police is a body that defends individual and public rights, respects law and order throughout the Republic of Kosovo
"Today the rule of law is an essential prerequisite in all aspects of society that as of today my dear young police officers you will be its guarantor.
Your education and training with highest professional standards in the field of law enforcement will be a great help not only for the Kosovo Police, but also for the perspective of the country, "said Maxhuni.
Maxhuni said that Kosovo Police should always be an example of realization its objectives; mission and vision
The General Director of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi initially congratulated the cadets for their graduation.
