Director Smakiqi hosted in a meeting Director Erdogan

 Vushtrri, May 23, 2012 - A delegation of Turkish Police School led by the school director, Ramazan Erdogan, visited Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), where they were hosted by General Director, Ismail Smakiqi, representatives of the Institutions of Public Safety and KAPS senior management. The purpose of visit was to continue the cooperation between these two institutions of Kosovo Academy for Public Safety and Turkish Police Training School,  Director Smakiqi informed the delegation about the concept, vision and trainings that are delivered in KAPS by all agencies as by Kosovo Police, Emergency Management Agency, Correctional Service and Kosovo Customs. Smakiqi said that KAPS has excellent cooperation with Turkish Police Training School. In this context, Smakiqi highly estimated the level of bilateral relations between Kosovo and Turkey, and stressed the necessity of their strengthening. Smakiqi emphasized strong bilateral relations between two countries Kosovo and Turkey, and thanked the Turkish state for their continuous support for the Republic of Kosovo.
The Turkish delegation expressed their willingness to support the Academy in all fields related to security, rule of law and fighting negative phenomena.
