In KCPSED was presented the project
Vushtrri, November 29, 2011 - Minister of Internal Affairs, Bajram Rexhepi and Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Finland, Paivi Rasanen, visited the Center for Public Safety, Education and Development (KCPSED) in Vushtrri, where presented the twinning project between KCPSED and security institutions of Finland and Estonia
This twinning project, which is a project of the European Commission for KCPSED is gain by Finland and Estonia and has to do with improving of education in the public security sector in the Republic of Kosova.
Minister of Internal Affairs, Bajram Rexhepi, said that this project will increase the level of education at the Kosovo Center for Public Safety, Education and Development, where in addition to basic services, specialized and advanced, will increase the level bachelor for public safety
"I believe in the staff as well as in the support we receive from the European Commission, OSCE, ICITAP and others who have always been with us, we will succeed and it will be a regional center not only for entire Kosova but also for other regions, "said Minister Rexhepi.
While Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Finland, Paivi Rasanen said that twinning project gain by Finland and Estonia is the interest of the EU towards the Balkans, where is included the Republic of Kosova.
"This is an excellent opportunity for the state of Kosova, and now is your time to achieve the EU projects. I believe that you will welcome our experts to cooperate in realization of this very important project, which will improve education for members of public safety, "said Minister Paivi Rasanen
Chief Executive of KCPSED, Ismail Smakiqi, said that the Center is continuing its reformation, initiating procedures regarding the drafting of laws in the accordance with the Law of the Kosova Academy for Public Safety, with clear objective for the accreditation of the Academy in the accordance with the strategic development plan for the next three years, including restructuring the internal organization, the Academy's membership in the international organizations, etc
