Law for the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety is published in the Official Gazette

Vushtrri, 25 November 2011- According to Article 65 (1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, the day before was approved the law for the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety which is published today in the Official Gazette.
Based on this law, the Center for Public Safety, Education and Development (KCPSED), now and further will have another label that is, the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS).
 Even after the approval of this Law, the Academy will continue to remain an executive agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The law states that Kosovo Academy of Public Safety is responsible for providing trainings and higher education, the implementation of policies and strategies of trainings, higher education and capacity development in the field of public safety
This law enters into force fifteen (15) days after publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Kosovo.
