DEM members of Albania and Kosovo are certified today

Vushtrri, April 23 '10-After a two-week training held at the Center for Public Safety, Education and Development,  10 members of the Emergency Department of the Republic of Albania and  26 members from Kosovo are certified today. At the certification ceremony held in village Studime of  Vushtrri Municipality,  were present  Minister of Internal Affairs Bajram Rexhepi, the Director of the Emergency Department Fadil Kodra, Chief Executive Officer of the Center for the Public Safety, Education and Development, Sheremet Ahmeti, representatives from Albanian Embassy and OSCE representatives 
Internal Affairs Minister, Mr. Bajram Rexhepi promised in his speech during the ceremony that he maximally will be engaged to create the best conditions for emergency trainers. He said that the challenges we are facing with the lack of adequate equipment, the delivery of advanced training, improvement of working conditions, should be addressed urgently in order to justify the expectations of the citizens of the country. We have already completed the legal infrastructure and in the meantime we are working on the establishment of emergency response agency as executive mechanism within the Ministry of Internal Affairs'', said minister Rexhepi.
Minister Rexhepi has expressed his satisfaction that the agreement for cooperation in terms of policy making between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania is being implemented. Whereas the KCPSED Chief Executive Sheremet Ahmeti has expressed his satisfaction that in this center, 26 DEM members from Kosovo and 10 members from Albania have completed Fire Rescue basic training "For the Center for Public Safety, Education and Development, it is a pleasure and honor, because on one hand it will contribute to further development of relations between the two countries and on the other hand it leads to goals that in the future KCPSED to be a training center for whole our region for the public security agencies members, "said z.Ahmeti.
But the chief of the Emergency Department within KCPSED, Rahman Sefedini, said that participants from Albania emergency were trained based on the curriculum plan approved by accreditation unit at KCPSED. He said that these participants were trained by respecting all rules and tactical -firefighting standards of Republic of Kosovo. Also, participants in the ceremony praised the high performance and commitment that is carried out in KCPSED. Participants of the training of two countries demonstrated joint exercises for Fire and Rescue. In the end the ceremony Minister Mr. Rexhepi distributed certificates to training participants.
