Training for "Search and Rescue" is completed

Vushtrri, 25 April 2017 -  Today at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), is completed the "Search and Rescue" training, supported by the US Embassy in Kosovo, whose goal was to train officials in relation to humanitarian support operations in crisis situations.

The graduation ceremony was attended by General Director of Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Mr. Ismail Smakiqi, Director of Department for Human Resources in Kosovo Police, Mr. Agron Rukiqi, Director of Directorate for Specialized and Advanced Training in Kosovo Police,  Mr. Akrem Rraci, Kosovo Security Forces Colonel Shaip Hazir, as well as officials of safety institutions.

Director General of Academy Ismail Smakiqi, welcoming the participants, estimated that such training is very important for officials who work in safety institutions.
 Director Smakiqi also thanked the United States of America, with special emphasis on the US Embassy and ICITAP for the support they have given and are continuing to give to the Academy.

While Shaip Haziri, Colonel of the Kosovo Security Force said that "Search and Rescue Training" is special for members of the KSF empowering their acquaintances that, in case of need, are ready to provide support for the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

Also, Mr. Agron Rukiqi, Director of the Department of Human Resources in the Kosovo Police, welcoming the participants, said that trainings are always welcome for the Kosovo Police.
