OSCE - Provides donation to the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety

Vushtrri, 16. April 2015 - Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), today provided a donation on the information technology: 84 computers, 10 printers, 3 photocopies, 2 servers, 30 digital telephones.


Present at the ceremony were the Director General of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi, Tamas Magda, head of Administration and Finance in the OSCE, Carsten Twelmeier acting Director of Department of Security and Public Safety, as well as officials from the OSCE and the Academy.


 Director General of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi informed Tamas Magda, head of Administration and Finance in the OSCE about the history of the Academy. Also spoke about the functioning of the Faculty of Public Safety which is within the Academy.

 

Director Smakiqi thanked the OSCE Mission in Kosovo for the continued support they have provided and continue to provide in capacity building of the Academy.

"There has never been absent the support of OSCE to the Academy by providing multiple donations for more professional increase in security sector," said Smakiqi.

At the end Smakiqi emphasized that this cooperation will continue in the future.

 

While Tamas Magda, head of Administration and Finance at the OSCE emphasized that this is not the end of the donations from the OSCE, and our support will not be absent in the Future either.


He also praised highly the work of the Kosovo Police and stressed that Kosovo Police is one of the most trusted institutions in Kosovo.
