Steering Committee of the Twinning Project held its last meeting

Vushtrri, 10 June 2014 - In Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), was held the eighth and last meeting of the Steering Committee of the Twinning Project funded by the European Commission.

The meeting attended the Director General of Academy Mr.Ismail Smakiqi, representatives of the Twinning Project, representatives of ministries, representatives of agencies, representatives of the European Union office in Republic of Kosovo, representatives of OSCE, EULEX, ICITAP and officials that are directly involved in the Twinning Project.

The project, which aims to improve education in the sector of public order and security, received high praise from experts and representatives of local and international institutions. 
They declare that the project is of particular importance, and assessed that this project has created a strong base for the opening of the Faculty of Security.
Director General of KAPS, Ismail Smakiqi, declares that the Academy has been very committed in partnership with the Government, the European Commission and representatives of the project, for that this project to be completed successfully. He assessed that the project is implemented in the best way possible.
