Cadets of the 45th generation visited KPI

Vushtri, July 18, 2013 - In a particular organization, Kosovo Police Inspectorate (KPI) today hosted the 45thgeneration of more than 40 cadets and KAPS staff.
During this visit except Kosovo Police cadets and Kosovo Police Inspectorate participated two deputy ministers of MIA, Mr. Izmi Zeka and Sasa Rasic Director of KAPS Mr  Ismail Smakiqi, Director of Emergency Management Agency Mr. Fadil Kodra, representatives from ICITAP, EULEX representatives etc..
During this visit cadets acquired additional knowledge about the role and mission of Kosovo Police Inspectorate.
In his speech, Deputy Minister of MIA Mr. Izmi Zeka thanked the KPI and KAPS for realization of such a visit:
“Kosovo Police Inspectorate, for a short time managed to create high support of citizens and has shown significant results in fighting negative phenomena within the Police. We congratulate the management of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, taking into account the specific work that has and found time and made possible for cadets a so well organized visit "- said among others. Mr.Zeka“
The KPI Chief executive Mr. Fitim Shishani thanked KAPS staff and cadets in particular for the realization of this visit:
 "You have opportunities that besides lectures at the academy to get additional knowledge on the role and mission of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate. We know that your role is of particular importance for the safety of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and I think that this visit will influence on increasing of your professionalism "- said in front of cadets and other participants Mr. Shishani.
 The general director of KAPS Mr.Ismail Smakiqi talking about the importance of this visit said that the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety will continue with basic vocational trainings, specialized and also to establish higher education in the field of public safety:
"Public Safety Institutions of Kosovo need skilled, professional, impartial, trained and educated to respect human rights, willing to deal with daily tasks in order to maintain public order and safety of our country citizens. Citizens of Kosovo and friendly countries will continue to invest in your training and education.
This investment you will return in the best way by serving professionally and with honor". - Stated among other Mr. Smakiqi addressing to the cadets.
 As part of this organization, during the visit at Kosovo Police Inspectorate cadets attended short presentations by three directors of departments including investigations, inspections and information analysis.
This visit included the visual viewing of some of the KPI equipment used on operational investigation issues that are received as a donation from the U.S. ICITAP and one of the interview rooms equipped with modern equipments.
