Deputy / Ambassador Mikander visited KAPS

Vushtrri, January 24, 2013 – General Director  of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) today  welcomed Deputy Ambassador of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Kosovo, Paivi Mikander. The purpose of the visit was to get familiarised more closely with the  concept and trainings  developed at the KAPS. Describing this visit as very important, the director Smakiqi informed Deputy / Ambassador for all activities that take place, for all the achievements, concept, vision and workshops held at the Academy. Smakiqi thanked OSCE for the continuous  support and assistance for  KAPS. During the meeting, both sides discussed about long-term plans of educational programs and the development of public safety officials Discussing about goals Smakiqi said that the Academy has excellent cooperation with the OSCE.
As Deputy / OSCE Ambassador in Kosovo, Paivi Mikander was pleased with her visit in KAPS, meanwhile, was interested in all the activities that take place in the Academy. Deputy Ambassador has promised that the OSCE will support the Academy in the future.
