Chief Executive Ismail Smakiqi has travelled on an official visit to Albania

Vushtrri, November 16, 2011 - Chief Executive of the Kosovo Center for Public Safety, Education and Development (KCPSED), Ismail Smakiqi accompanied by directors of departments Halim Shala, Dukagjin Dinaj, and Avni Istrefi, today visited the Police Forming Centre in Tirana where they were hosted by the director of the Center Hamdi Fjora, with co-operators.
During this meeting the Chief Smakiqi was informed by his homologous in Tirana with current developments in this institution.
Heads of Institutions which their field of activities are similar, agreed to further strengthen of relations for continuation of cooperation and expand the exchange of experiences in new fields, according to regional and global developments.
Fjora informed the guests from Kosova about the European Commission projects, which will soon begin to develop in areas of QFP in Tirana, relate with construction of new hotel facilities for the needs of the Center.
Smakiqi informed Director Fjora about approval of the Kosova Academy Law for Public Safety, and to start implementation of this law, which represents a new quality in the life of this institution. The law is expected to enter in force these days and is believed to affect to increase trainings quality, and at the same time open the perspective for the beginning of studies in the field of public safety.
The leaders of these two institutions in the coming days are expected to visit Podgorica, in a joint meeting with homologous from Montenegro in the framework of regional cooperation.
