Chief of EULEX Police Component visited Kosovo Centre for Public Safety

Vushtrri, 17 March 2011- Kosovo Centre for Public Safety, Education and Development Executive Chief Mr.Sheremet Ahmeti welcome in a meeting one delegation from EULEX mission in Kosovo lead by EULEX Police Component Mr. Udo Moeller.

Mr. Ahmeti initially greeted the delegation and subsequently informed them with work, activities, trainings which are held at the Centre by four Public Safety Agencies such as Kosovo Police, Kosovo Customs, Emergency Management Agency and Kosovo Correctional Service.

Mr. Ahmeti also spoke about phases in which the centre is going through  as well about accreditation, certification and its objectives that in the near future the Centre will be with high education, mainly in safety field.
“Our goal is that the Centre to get regional character in South east Europe, for studies in Public Safety field since many members here that belong to safety field from the region like from Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro have finished the trainings “ Mr. Ahmeti said 
 
Executive Chief Mr.Ahmeti thanked all international missions for the given contribution in safety field and also thanked EULEX - European Union Mission.
He expressed his conviction that the Kosovo Centre for Public Safety, Education and Development and EULEX will continue their cooperation in the future as well.
Whereas the EULEX Police Component Mr. Udo Moeller said that the goal of this visit at Kosovo Centre for Public Safety, Education and Development to get informed more closely with work, trainings and activities that are carried out in this institution. He said that the cooperation between EULEX and The Centre in the future will continue.
At the end of this meeting they made a visit to all Centre facilities.
