Chief executive Mr. Ahmeti hosted today the General Deputy Chief of Turkey National Police

Vushtrri, 21 October 2010 – Chief executive of Kosovo Center for Public Safety, Education and Development Mr. Ahmeti hosted today the General Deputy Chief of Turkey National Police Mr. Osman Çapali,Head of Intelligence Department of Turkish National Police Mr. Omer Altiparmak, Deputy Head of this Department Mr. Sabedtin Akguç, and supervisor of the Intelligence Department Mr. Bilal Çankal.

During the meeting, the Chief Executive Mr.  Sheremet Ahmeti, has informed the Turkish delegation for the work and activities of the Kosovo Center for the Public Safety and talked about the possibility of cooperation between two institutions of Kosovo and Turkey.
Chief Executive Mr. Ahmeti thanked Mr. Çapali for their engagement and continued support that Turkey is making for Kosovo in all areas, especially in the field of security.
During the conversation, Chief Executive Mr. Ahmeti informed the Turkish delegation for all training that is held by four public safety agencies at the Center for Public Safety, Education and Development. Chief Executive Mr. Ahmeti informed the Turkish delegation also for projects that are expected to be realized soon regarding the rising training and accommodation capacity in the Centre. Turkish delegation was also informed about the concept, vision, phase of transition, accreditation, legislation, but also for the successes and achievements of the Center for the Public Safety, Education and Development. Chief Executive Mr. Ahmeti also informed the Turkish delegation that in the Kosovo Center for Public Safety trained members of public safety not only from the Republic of Kosovo, but also by region. "Our goal is that the Kosovo Center for Public Safety, Education and Development to get regional character in South East Europe for studies in the field of public safety, since here has been many members of the public safety agencies from regional countries like Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro”, said Mr. Ahmeti.


Meanwhile, General Deputy Director of Turkish National Police, Mr. Osman Çapali, thanks Mr. Ahmeti   for the hospitality, has promised that the police and the Turkish state will continuously support the police and the state of Kosovo. Mr. Çapali hopes that Kosovo Center for Public Safety will soon become Police Academy. "I hope that the Public Safety Center will soon become the police Academy”. We as the police and the Turkish state are willing to support in every aspect, "said Mr. Çapali.
