Title: Erasmus+ staff and student exchange programs, experiences from AKSP

Vushtrri, May 27.2024 - During the year 2023, the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), through the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, has signed the inter-institutional agreement with LAUREA and as a result of this cooperation, student exchanges, mutual exchanges of academic and administrative staff have been successfully developed from both institutions.

In 2023, for the first time, 2 students of this University, Jessika Kokko and Oskar Leskinen, stayed for a full semester at the Faculty of Safety (FPS) in KAPS.

Also, during their stay in Kosovo, for a week, the professor of these last two, Timo Ryynänen, stayed at KAPS, who completed this period of stay/exchange in KAPS and Kosovo, lecturing at the FPS in KAPS and meeting with officials from KAPS and other local and international institutions and mechanisms in the field of interest.

Inspired by what they had seen in Kosovo and the previous experiences of their colleagues in the framework of cooperation and exchange between KAPS and LAUREA, they recently presented their experiences in Laurea's magazine, namely in issue 4 of Laurea Long for the year 2024, which they titled "Erasmus+ staff and student exchange programs, experiences from KAPS".
