Dean of the Faculty of Public Safety Bejtush Gashi has traveled for an official visit to Slovenia

Vushtrri, 16 May 2019 - A delegation of the Faculty of Public Safety, headed by the Dean of the Faculty Bejtush Gashi traveled  for an official visit at the Faculty of Social Sciences, respectively at the Defense Department University of Ljubljana and Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security,University of Maribor in Slovenia .

Delegation which is composed by Dean Gashi and Professor Halil Asallani will stay in Slovenia
for two consecutive days, on May 16 and 17. The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Iztok Prezelj - vice dean, Marjan Malesic Head of Research Institute at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Ass. Dr. Maja Garb, Head of the Department of Defense and other officials for international cooperation.

During this meeting was discussed for an inter-institutional cooperation in the field of education, teaching, learning, research and academic and student exchanges.

"This meeting was of introductory character inter- institutional, it resulted to be very fruitful since, in principle, the parties agreed to cooperate on common fields of interest including research, teaching and academic and student exchanges through the Erasmus + program as well as other bilateral agreements in the future, said Gashi.

Also, the delegation from the Faculty of Public Safety developed meetings with  the  heads of the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security, visited the University of Maribor, where they were received by Prof. Assoc. Dr. Andrej Sotlar dean, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Igor Bernik vice dean, as well as other international cooperation officials.

Heads of this faculty expressed their readiness to have inter-institutional cooperation in the fields of common interest beginning with the academic exchanges initially and then further extending the form of inter-institutional cooperation.
