Utah Valley University students visited the Academy

Vushtrri 11 June 2019- Utah Valley University delegation from Iowa, United States, visited today the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, where they were hosted  by the Director of Finance and Services Department, Rrahim Rexha, Dean of the Faculty of Education Public Safety Bejtush Gashi as well as other academic staff.

Director initially welcomed the delegation, while informing them about developments at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety.

During this meeting, Rexha spoke about the trainings held in the academy where all law enforcement acters participate, for projects that the Academy has implemented, which are related to the field of public safety.
Also, the delegation was informed about the international cooperation that the Academy has with different European and wider countries.
Meanwhile, Professor John Fisher at Utah Valley University from the United States who is staying at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety said the Academy has made some progress in implementing its projects. Fischer, during his stay at the Academy, highly praised the work done here.
Ficher also spoke about co-operation with the staff of the Faculty of Public Safety of KAPS, exchange of experiences etc.

Professor Ficher expressed his readiness for cooperation with the Academy in the future.
The students delegation from Utah Valley University from Iowa of the United States of America also were welcomed by the Dean of the Public Safety Faculty Bejtush Gashi.  Even Dean Gashi expressed his readiness for future cooperation in the field of education for public safety.
While the delegation was delighted with the visit to the Academy, where their interest was related to training and other developments at the Academy.
 
At the end the delegation accompanied by the senior management of the Academy visited the instructor at the Academy and were  briefed on the practical work that the members of the public security are developing.
