A delegation from the University "James Medison" visited the Academy

Vushtrri, May 9, 2017 – General Director of Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS)  Ismail Smakiqi, hosted  today a delegation from Virginia's University "James Medison", led by Michael Stoloff, who is a dean and professor at this university.

The delegation was  composed by Joanne Brewster, a professor at the Department of Psychology at James Madison University, Drita Kadriu, director of the Department of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education in Kosovo, Myrvete Badivuku, Prorector for Budget and Finance at the University of Hasan Prishtina ", as well as former Minister Ahmet Shala.

During this meeting was discussed about the developments at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Director Smakiqi informed the delegation about all activities, trainings and projects that were realized as well as the performance of the Faculty of Public Safety.

Also the delegation was informed about the student mobility and professors of the Faculty of Public Safety and their cooperation with other faculties at home and abroad.

On this occasion Director Smakiqi expressed the willingness for a cooperation between the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety and the James Medison University.

Meanwhile, the representative of "James Madison" University, Michael Stoloff thanking Director Smakiqi for his welcome expressed his willingness to provide cooperation and support in higher education.


Also the director Drita Kadriu and former Minister Ahmet Shala expressed their willingness to facilitate and support the cooperation between KAPS and James Medison University.
